My name is Kelsey Linnehan and I am a Southside Richmonder.
As the Republican nominee for Delegate in Virginia's bluest district, I am asking voters in the 79th to put Richmond before party, and to trust that as your representative, I will bring positive change to our city through targeted legislation in the General Assembly and by advocating directly to City Hall on your behalf.
With your vote, we can make Richmond into the city we want it to be.
This is my platform for an even better Richmond. I invite you to contact me with your thoughts and ideas so that we can unify around the common vision that I will bring to the General Assembly in 2026.
A Transparent City Hall
Hold Mayor Avula to his promise to be a "transparent and ethical leader" and close the loopholes the City has used to evade legitimate FOIA requests.
An Affordable Dominion Bill and Power that Doesn't Go Out
Bipartisan amendments to the Virginia Clean Economy Act to boost our energy supply and expand Dominion Energy's Strategic Underground Program to bury Richmond's power lines.
A Safe and Transparent Prison
Drastically reduce the flow of drugs and weapons into our prison, and direct the State Board of Local and Regional Jails to address the Richmond Sheriff Office's lack of transparency.
A Clean James River
Prioritize our local environment by protecting the James River from raw sewage spills and related contamination, ensuring safe waters for our community, pets, and wildlife.
A More Affordable (and less Annoying) Richmond
Repeal the car tax, repeal the meals tax, repeal the plastic bag tax, and repeal speed cameras.
Join our team and let voters know they can make a difference, or chip in a few bucks to help us get these issues in front of voters.
